Prayer

Praying Together

The people of God only move forward on their knees. Holy Trinity is no different. No lasting thing was achieved for the Kingdom of God without prayer. Prayer is an important part of all our meetings.

Wednesday Prayer Meeting 7.30pm

We meet every Wednesday at 7.30pm for Prayer and Praise. It is a time to seek God and for Him to revive us in His presence. We believe only a supernatural move of God in revival in Wester Hailes will bring the fullness of Kingdom life to families and individuals across our community, and so we pray often for such a move. We also often pray for the many ministries and outreaches that go out from Holy Trinity, for the persecuted Church and for our nation and parliament.

1st Wednesday of the month – online via Zoom, email @holytrinitywesterhailes.org.uk for the link.

All other Wednesdays – meet in the church.

CAP Prayer Meeting

CAP Prayer Meeting every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 6.45 to 7.30pm. Please join us to praise God for his rich blessing on our CAP services at Holy Trinity. What is Intercessory Prayer?

Intercessory prayer is simply praying for others – an important part of the work of the Kingdom. It is a group of trusted people who pray for others who are experiencing great difficulty. It is holy, believing, persevering prayer, where someone pleads with God on behalf of others who desperately need God’s intervention. Perhaps a young mum is distressed about her child’s health, a friend is in hospital after an accident, a parent is diagnosed with cancer, a marriage that looks like it is failing; these are some of the situations that the Intercessory Prayer team plead with God for. Prayer requests can be made through one of our Elders, Doris Mackenzie.

Prayer Triplets

As the name suggests, a prayer triplet is a small group of three men or three women who meet to share, encourage and pray for one another. If you would like to be part of a prayer triplet please contact Ian Richardson for more information.
