Holy Trinity uses its income for two main purposes
the Church and the Community.
We run the church building week by week covering the cost of salaries, heating, lighting, and maintaining the church and halls in good repair. We pay for these things from our General Fund.
We are part of the Wester Hailes community and run several projects to support our community, paid for from our Wester Hailes Fund:
Crisis support for families facing real hardship
Some of our community projects receive financial support from individuals, local organisations, churches and charitable trusts:
CAP Debt Centre
CAP Job Club
Counselling Service
Community Café
How can I support Holy Trinity Church Financially?
Members and friends of Holy Trinity can give online, either as a one-off gift or as a regular monthly amount paid directly from your bank account. If you are a taxpayer you can increase your donation by 25% at no cost to you, just by signing a Gift Aid form.
Bank transfer / Standing order
You can set up a standing order or make a one-off gift directly from your Bank account to Holy Trinity:
Holy Trinity Church of Scotland
Sort Code: 80.02.27
Account No: 00112904
If you have any questions about giving or would like to give directly to any one of our community supporting projects, please contact Janet Khindria our Gift Aid manager, who looks after all donations to Holy Trinity.
The Giving Pack contains a Giving Form and Gift Aid instructions. Members and friends will normally use the Giving Form to tell us how much of their donation they would like to contribute to the general running of the church, and how much to allocate to the Wester Hailes fund.
In recent years many members have requested 25% of their donations should go to the Wester Hailes Fund to support our community projects.
