What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers”.  MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mum of a child from conception through to primary one.  It is a group of women who are passionate about supporting and nurturing Mums in our modern time.  Whether you’re urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you.  Being mums is what brings us together and allows us to build community.  Here are what some people who have attended MOPS said:

‘The helpers were amazing. The men in particular really have made an impression on my boys.’

‘MOPS has had a huge influence on my family, I really look forward to it. It’s given me more confidence as a person, not just as a mum. ’

Where and When?

Our MOPS group is on Monday Mornings 9.15 – 11.15am at The Bridge Café.  It’s for Mum’s in the Wester Hailes Community. We provide a yummy breakfast, good company, great presentations & discussions, all while the kids are cared for in a loving and fun crèche. Cost is £2.00 covering refreshments and resources.

You are warmly invited to join us! For more information please do get in touch with Laura or Naomi and have a look through our new website MOPS in Wester Hailes
