After Alpha – then what? Maybe you have just taken your first few steps in a new found or renewed faith in God through his Son Jesus Christ. Perhaps you still have lots of questions that you have only begun to get answers to or you have just starting attending Holy Trinity Church and are confused why we do things the way we do. Of course when we were taking our first few steps in childhood, we had a few falls and tumbles on the way. Fortunately someone was there to help and encourage us back up on our feet.

The BETA Course meets for 7 evenings and is a group for people who want to deepen friendships and find out more what it means to be a follower of Jesus in very practical terms.  Each evening we will cover a different topic.  These are:

  1. God is who he says he is
  2. I am who God says I am
  3. God will do what he says he will do
  4. I can do what God says I can do
  5. Maintaining our relationship with God
  6. Sharing your faith without losing your friends
  7. Ministry in the Body of Christ

Unlike Alpha, there is no meal and no official talk – but there will be tea or coffee (and cake!), a friendly informal atmosphere, and an opportunity to explore some of the issues that affect us everyday and discover together how we can live the full life that Jesus promises, and came to bring us.

“I have come that you might have life and life in all its fullness!” John 10:10

Our next Beta Course starts in January 2018 at Holy Trinity Church. (date to be confirmed)

If you would like to find out more, please don’t hesitate to contact our Beta Coordinator.
